Today I have been doing some reflecting. It just hit me that we only have two @uprisingyoungadults services left. It has been such a great run. I’ve served in this ministry for 6 years and led it (with my amazing husband and incredible team) for 3. I am extremely grateful our Pastors gave us this incredible opportunity. We were able to build a community of people who deeply love the presence of God. That is so sweet, so pure, and will always make me smile. I met my husband in this ministry, I learned practically everything I know about ministry in this ministry, and I’ve built friendships that will last a lifetime. My life was radically changed in this ministry and for that, I will forever be grateful! We still have two services left - tonight & next Friday, join us at 8pm - we will be serving Hot Cocoa tonight Bring a friend and join us for the FUN. #uprisingya #cornerstonesd (swipe for pics)

Life is beautiful. Stay grateful. There have been many times when life humbled me. There was a time when I literally had no food in my fridge (well I had one doughnut and a piece of fried chicken - that’s all), nor enough money to pay my bills, but I stayed grateful. I stayed grateful because regardless of what my circumstances looked like, God had given me a second chance in life. Seeking Him brought me so much joy that money had no hold on me. Sure, I had moments of panic, “God if you don’t come through for me I’m going to be homeless.” Thankfully He always came through.... at the last second ha! Talk about developing total trust in God. He used people to offer me groceries and money. I was so embarrassed at the time, but now I am grateful because He wiped away my pride. Now, God has turned everything around for me. I travel the world to preach & to share my story. Many people see my public success (and I’m not saying “I’ve arrived” by any means - but I’ve learned some things up to this point), but the road here came with many tears and fervent prayers. Maybe things haven’t been easy for you lately, but how you manage this season will determine your level of promotion in your next season. Stay humble, grateful, and obedient to God. He has bigger plans in store for your future. Keep trusting Him because the best is yet to come.
