Este domingo 13 de marzo se llevó a cabo la ceremonia de premiación número 27 de los Premios de la Elección de la Crítica, mejor conocidos como Critics' Choice Awards. Estos premios son conocidos de esta manera, debido a que son los espectadores quienes eligen a los ganadores.

En un principio, esta ceremonia estaba pensada para realizarse el 9 de enero de este año, no obstante, tuvo que posponerse por el repunte en el aumento de contagios por covid-19.

Así, este domingo 13 de marzo coincidieron con los Premios Cinematográficos de la Academia Británica (BAFTA), lo cuales se llevaron a cabo en Londres. Por su parte, los Critics' Choice Awards se celebraron en el Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel, ubicado en Los Ángeles, California. Cabe señalar que, a causa de su coincidencia con los BAFTA, hubo una sede en Londres, en el Savoy Hotel.
